Kokua Kalihi Valley (KKV) is a community-organized and community-operated non-profit corporation serving the residents of Kalihi Valley through a philosophy of “neighbors helping neighbors.” It was formed in 1972 by community leaders in response to the absence of accessible and appropriate health services for the valley’s growing Asian and Pacific Island immigrant populations.
