Why They Do What They Do.
John C. Murphy Health Center do what they do because part of their mission is to ensure the public health safety net, which for them means offering comprehensive health care including preventative and primary care at their health centers.
It is this public health safety net that helps maintain us as a civil and caring community.
Anyone is welcome in their health centers, regardless of ability to pay.
The facilities accept many major types of insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid, and for Saint Louis County residents without health insurance, they offer a sliding fee scale based on several criteria (please call one of the health centers for more information).
Hours:
Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
On the first Friday of each month, the Health Centers will not open until 12:30 p.m. to accommodate staff training.
The Health Centers are open to all.

I've been to this clinic.I had a cleaning. I had an extraction. I needed a root canal. I had an emergency. I needed dental care. I paid based on my income (sliding-scale). The staff was unfriendly. I waited several hours I had the worst experience with them. 1) It took them over 5 months to even see me 2) Roughest cleaning I've ever had. The dental assist actually cut into and pierced my gums, I spent the following 3 hour spitting blood. 3) They cancelled my next appointment and never called me
